That’s ok. It gave me a good 5+ years so I’ve been very happy with it.

I went out and got a new Mac Mini Server and am now using that. I didn’t like it at first but now that I’ve got the hang of it... it’s pretty slick!

Once I get all of my sites back online and how I want them I’ll make an honest effort to actually update the content here.

Reinstalled and set up the Linux server which I took from home to work so that I can CoLo it. Now it’s on a fast beefy 43mbps pipe.

Now that I have my own server I’m going to start migrating my domains to it so they aren’t on company servers. This might take a while depending on how much time I have and my having to refresh my memory on Apache configs. But hopefully it’ll be faster, completely in my control and have MORE than enough storage for whatever I feel like hosting.

...Out of my stash and gave it to them. We giggled like high school girls. They talked a lot about the Sopranos and one of the guys was a giant of man. So I called him Bobby (Baccaliere) which they thoroughly enjoyed. Ended up getting a few free rounds from them. As they were leaving I thanked them for the amusing night, happy birthday to the one then gave Bobby a little protection for the ride home.

I just received my Canon PowerShot SD 750 Digital Elph and hooh-boy is it sweet. Expect some new pictures soon; I'll probably end up redoing everything with the new camera. Unfortunately my 4GB SD Card was shipped separately and hasn't come in yet so with the completely useless 32MB card included I can take a whopping 12 pictures in the highest resolution.

Originally I thought I'd do a podcast roundtable at the bar with some other nerd buddies. We'd record our conversations then post them and call it Drunk-Fu. We recorded a few which we thought were pretty funny at the time but listening to them after the fact we decided it wasn't a good idea.

[Switching gears completely]

While in grade school I was lucky enough to make friends not once but twice with exchange students from Japan. In kindergarten and first grade. I loved visiting their place and checking out all of their wonderful foreign things. Comics, toys, books, money, clothes, everything. I was intrigued! Their mothers used to sit down with me and teach me Origami. I was instantly hooked and continued to fold paper up to my early 20's.

A few months ago I suddenly had a spark of interest again. So after nearly 10 years hiatus I'm crazy over folding again. I wished I had kept with it. The mind has a much more difficult time retaining things as it gets older. I used to know how to make so many things; some very complex. I have no idea where it went but I used to have a small briefcase from my childhood where I kept one model of everything I knew how to make. *sniffles* I'm trying to rebuild that. I still have some bits and pieces though.

A good friend noticed I had been playing with paper folding and picked up a book on money Origami. I was hooked immediately and that is currently my passion. I've pulled just about everything from the net that I could find as well as purchase a dozen books or so on the art (money and paper).

[This is where it all ties together]

So how this all comes together is that because I like to drink, like martial arts and love Origami, I've been using folded money (I find the 2$ US a nice unique touch) as tips while out. Technically it's not included as my full tip, it's just a bonus to go along with it. I'm usually inebriated when I make things so there you go.


What I hope to do with this site is to document all of the nifty little things I've learned to make. Provide diagrams when possible and suggest books on the subject. I lead a rather busy life so updates may not be as frequent as I hope. Balancing two parrots, IT job, watching all the crap I download, *trying* to lift weights/work out and be social. Folding calms me but some models can take a while. The first time I made a dragonfly it took me about 2 hours.

Anyhow. Enjoy and I will try to keep this updated with new things all the time.]]>
